We took the original Duo Cover and kept what you loved, improved what you didn’t, and even added a few extra upgrades for good measure. Some improvements for Duo Cover 2.0 include collapsible or uncollapsible versions and an optional "Stow-Away Mate" accessory for those without a magnetic microwave ceiling. We also designed it to be a larger size for bigger plates/meals with an even better-looking design (because let’s be honest, these things matter!).

It’s not magic, but you’ll think it is! Duo Cover 2.0 works by covering your food in the microwave, preventing splatters while simultaneously distributing heat and steam evenly for faster, better-tasting meals. It also includes microwave-safe magnets for convenient, hidden storage by attaching to the top of your microwave when not in use.
Science is hard, so let’s break it down! Duo Cover 2.0 excites the H2O molecules in your food, generating steam. By locking in moisture, the cover steams food more evenly and makes leftovers taste less like leftovers (if ya know what we mean 😉).
What is this, 1849?! Duo Cover 2.0 is 100% dishwasher friendly! Just toss it on the top rack between a few of those dishwasher spokes and face downward. If you prefer, you can also hand wash it with warm water and dish soap. Either way, cleanup has literally never been easier!
Not much honestly! The only difference between the two is that the collapsible version can be folded down for easy storage and is designed to maximize kitchen space while the uncollapsible version stays expanded. Other than that, they’re basically twins!
Yes! This is the main reason we created the Stow-Away Mate! This accessory allows Duo Cover 2.0 to be used with non-magnetic microwaves by attaching to your microwave ceiling with double-sided adhesive. No magnets, no problem!
The Stow-Away Mate is the perfect solution for those who want that same convenient microwave storage but do not have a magnetic microwave. Here are a few things you can do beforehand to make sure you choose the right option for you:
- Check to see if your microwave is magnetic!
- If your microwave is NOT magnetic, the Stow-Away Mate is perfect for you.
- When purchasing your Duo Cover 2.0 for a NON-magnetic microwave, be sure to opt for the version that does not come with the built-in microwave-safe magnets. Using a Duo Cover 2.0 with built-in magnets on a microwave that is NOT magnetic is a safety hazard.
We don’t like to brag but… well, maybe we do. Oops! Unlike traditional microwave covers, Duo Cover 2.0 is made from premium materials that never contain toxic plastics. It’s also so much more than that, functioning as a steamer, splatter guard, heat-resistant mitt, and even a colander. Anyway, what was the question again?
